My parents got me a CD by a Pueblo Indian from New Mexico. His name is Robert Mirabal. On the back of the CD his music is described as being part of a "powerful and evocative musical setting highlighted by native flute, cello, guitar, and percussion".

Standout tracks on the CD include:

Ee-You-Oo

Hunting Party

Bataan Death Match

10:26 pm - hi
My name is Laurel. I am into indie-ish stuff, a lot of Brit poppish stuff, and just cute music in general.

I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Joel Plaskett does too. He has a song called "Happen Now" and it is really really good.

Also, I was referred to this community after requesting any cool French songs. Sooo... anyone got some they'd care to share? In return I can upload you absolutely anything off my last.fm playlist.

Yay
